The Suicide Prevention Manual is a new pocket-sized resource designed to support people who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, encouraging them to follow simple steps to manage their thoughts and seek support. From 10 October (World Mental Health Day), copies of the guide will be distributed to various locations including mental health and wellbeing services, Barnet libraries and voluntary and community settings throughout the borough.
The manual was produced by individuals from The Network Enablement Service, who have had lived experience of suicidal thoughts, and supported by Barnet Council's Prevention Fund.
