Whether you have tried to stop smoking before, or are thinking about it for the first time, loads of support is available to help you succeed. 

The Barnet Stop Smoking Service offers free, personalised guidance for residents who want to quit. Our fully trained advisers can help you understand your triggers, create a realistic plan and access stop smoking aids such as medications and vapes that can significantly improve your chances of stopping for good.

Many residents say that regular support has helped them stay motivated and on track. Quitting can bring immediate benefits, from easier breathing and improved energy to saving money and reducing the risk of serious illness. Even reducing the amount that you smoke daily can be a helpful first step.

Stop Smoking Advisors work across a variety of settings such as hospitals, community health centers, or specialised clinics. Here at Barnet, we have a team of 3 in-house advisors who offer telephone support, 1:1 face to face appointments and groups.
