The award-winning Healthy Heart Peer Support Project helps people from African, Caribbean and South Asian communities to understand the risks of high blood pressure, offers support to make healthy lifestyle choices to reduce the risk, and shares information about accessing support to manage blood pressure.
A programme of free in-person sessions and support groups are offered to people living in Burnt Oak, Colindale, Edgware, Hendon & Golders Green. Over the sessions you will hear from doctors, nurses and nutritionists about how to manage your blood pressure and heart health.
With help from the Healthy Heart Peer Support Workers from your community who have lived experience of the challenges you face, you can get support to set personal goals to improve your heart health. Find out more at Inclusion Barnet or contact the team healthyheart@inclusionbarnet.org.uk
